Hearts of Gold!

This blog is dedicated to all those who have heart of GOLD , Who think differently , who serve the purpose of GOD's Creation , who have gone out of their way to help people.

1. Mr. Prakash

This gentleman is an rickshaw driver in mumbai servicing somewhere between borivli and andheri. It was some two months back that i was on my way back to home from office and was driving on the highway.. suddenly i realised that i am running out of fuel and as there are no petrol stations till mira road after goregaon , i had to take a left from the highway near borivli but unfortunately i couldnt reach the petrol station and my petrol tank was empty. I parked my vehicle near a tea stall , decided to take a rick to buy the petrol . The driver was none other than this middle aged gentleman . We reached the petrol station but unfortunately the guys over there refused to sell petrol in a bottle and they strictly were asking for a can (like the oil can) . I didnt have it neither did the driver , so , we were like going from this corner to the other in search of a oil can . damn , no one was having it or willing to give out one.. i was getting so frustrated but this guy was asking everyone without losing his patience for an oil can and finally he was able to get one from a shop where he normally buys oil for his auto. This may not sound like a big deal but trust me , he defnitely went out of his way to help me get that small can which defnitely was a big deal at that time. How many of these auto drivers help you like this ? He was so kind hearted and i decided to thank him by paying more fare to the auto but he refused man.. i still remember him telling me "meri insaniyat ko main bechta nahi saab" . You know , till then I seriously used to think that only I help people going out of my way .. but no , i was wrong.. this middle aged guy made me realise that i am nothing in front of him.. i was looking so little and he was like a youth icon growing in front of me.. god damn it.. we chose SRK , DHONI , SANIA MIRZA as our youth icons? We defnitley have to grow a lot seeing this people.. So , I sincerely thank this guy again and dedicate this first post to him.. GOD bless him.

2. AMRUTA...

In this world of materiliastic thing where everyone is busy with their own lives , where everyone is breathing through their mobile phones , where people dont have time for people .. there is this one girl on this earth who has born to be different. You think i am talking about caring people.. comeon , she cares about animals too.. Its after a decade or so that i met a girl like amruta who defnitely has a heart of gold . Rare species to be found these days. We all would have met girls who care about animals, but , they would be their pets.. but this girl has gone out of her way and helped lots of animals no matter its a dog , cat , parrot .. what not? There might be lots of others who are like amruta but i met only one.. i tell you god has stopped creating girls like her.. there is this incident that happened in delhi that 20 street dogs were beaten with stones by the locals over there some twenty days back and some guy who is into animal care was writing about this in a thread on orkut.. and amruta was like asking evrything in detail , whether the dogs are safe or not , if he needed any help to treat those dogs.. seriously , in a world where everything and everyone has become so selfish , who has a heart to care about ur fellow people ? and we are talking about taking care of animals.. we all have to learn a lot from this girl .. from all those who are like her.. love all.. god will love you back.. I am proud to say that she is my friend.. sorry.. I am proud that I am her friend .. GOD bless you amruta !

3. Mallesh

He is my senior in the feild of editing and i did my apprenticeship with him during 2000 to 2001 and later on assisted him. He is such a down to earth guy . He is from a middle class family and most of his salary would go in clearing his loans and he would hardly have money left with him..but , whenever someone comes for some help to him , he wouldnt have second thoughts man , he would help whoever it may be.. now thats where i learnt selflessness.. I used to think that this guy is nuts , he neednt even know the person very much , he just helps whoever it may be.. even if he has to go through lots of turmoils , he wouldnt stop helping . He told me one thing which changed my life a lot gradually.. "Life is like a wheel.. it keeps running.. those who are on the top will come down and those who are lying low will come up one day.. " . He is a big time editor down there in chennai but he doesnt have attitude , ego kinda things.. I accept there are very few like him but they havent become extinct.. This is life and we are here to help others and love others.. if everyone realises this truth , this world will become a better place to live...

More to come...
